At the 2024 Human Genome Meeting (HGM) on April 8th to 10th in Rome, Italy, the MGI team, along with our partner Euroclone SpA, showed off our latest work in Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) and spatial research, aiming to improve research in these areas.

A key part of our involvement was the Corporate Symposium on April 10th at 13:00 in the Parallel Hall. Dr. Antonio Grimaldi from the Telethon Institute of Genetics and Medicine gave a talk titled “Benchmarking of Short Reads Sequencing in Clinical Genomics.” He discussed how important genomics is in medicine and how it can help create better medical treatments that are specific to the genetic needs of people in Italy and other places.

This event was a great chance for people to meet and talk with our team from Europe and Africa and discuss potential future work in genomic research.
